Even with the pick 6, at least Shough has led the offense to some damn points. Rattler is abysmal. Shough is QB1 and there’s no point in delaying the inevitable.

So let me get you and Chads facts straight. Rattler didn’t do much with backup receivers against chargers defensive players that will actually be on the roster and get playing time.
But Shough scored a td against guys that will be working at wal mart in two weeks but he scored points so it’s all good. Makes sense.

Neither had full offensive support either, so it's not like this was the most telling of games.
But, of the 2 guys that faced a bunch of bums, only one was able to actually move the ball well. The other can scramble. Sometimes.

when shough scrambled towards the end of his time in game and slid when defender came, it was after a big sack the series before and he was on the sideline during the series working out his leg. He got beat up on that sack so hopefully he'll get back to 100% healing this week.

It was a good route. It wasn't a tough throw, I agree.
But, he missed on a similar pass early. That was a pretty big miss. Give him credit for that. It was his first game after all.
