Rattler ain’t it. Start Shough all year and find out what you have. Then you know if you have to draft another QB next year.

IMO, Shough should start anyway. Give him a full season to really evaluate if you need to spend a 1st on a QB next year. The only good reason NOT to do that is if you had a veteran for him to sit and learn from for part of the season. Rattler is not that

yes...
let's be intellectually honest... both of them have big league arms and can absolutely rip it... but Shough seems, from just what we've seen so far, able to at least look downfield and try downfield passing vs. the safer checkdown option, like Rattler seems to be doing

Didnt look bad to me either. He's definitely quick to quit trusting that Oline though. Play calling and defense were different for both.

Shough just stands so much taller (and is taller lol) but in fairness it’s easier to come in and rip in the two minute drill.
Rattler looks like Brees in stature without the quick twitch movement and pocket mobility. He’s playing with shitty surrounding talent and faced rush immediately and you could tell he was never comfortable.
Want to see Shough with the ones playing against the ones next game.

Ratt had a bad first half. Tyler looked better on his one two minute offence drive.

WR dropped a first down. Pass rush in his face constantly. Defense couldnt tee off in 2 minute drill. This isnt a fair evaluation if you ask me and I like both. Shough was alot more comfortable in the pocket.

You can say the same thing about rattler. Dudes got a live arm, younger than Shough and might make the better reads. Yes we spent a 2 on Tyler. We also spent a two on Foskey, no one talks about that
