Predicting every LSU game this season with some overview

The LSU vs Clemson thread where I gave a little overview and you guys gave feedback was a good discussion.

Let’s predict every game this season (trying to be non bias)

At Clemson W
Gave my reasons why LSU wins this game in that breakdown thread. 30-27 LSU in a classic

Vs La Tech W
La tech with a chunk of Louisiana/Mississippi 2 star players. Definitely gonna be excited to play LSU, however LSU too talented, too deep. 48- 13 LSU

Vs Florida W
This will be a tough game. I don’t like how LSU has faired against mobile athletic QBs. I like the pieces Florida has added at WR, they also have a very good young RB. LSU wins a close one strictly being at home and being a night game. 31-24 LSU

Vs Southeastern LA W
Get some Michael Van buren action here and hopefully Hurley play time.
44-10 LSU

At Ole Miss W
Too much turnover for Ole Miss this season. New QB, new WRs, New RB. Just a lot of turnover. I think Austin Simmons is a very talented guy though. 38-27 LSU

Vs South Carolina W
Very similar to the Florida game where I am very concerned about Sellers and his scrambling ability. However, I don’t think South Carolina has the WRs Florida do. With a much improved secondary at LSU this year I think this is a statement game. 35-20 LSU

At Vanderbilt W
Pavia has that confidence about him. Wouldn’t be surprised if they upset someone else this season. I don’t think it will be LSU though especially with me predicting LSU undefeated going into this game. 38-17 LSU

Vs Texas AM W
Marcel Reed is very athletic and punished us last year. I feel a revenge type game for LSU in this one. Especially being at home. I think the improved DLine and LB corps make Texas AM one dimensional and LSU does enough on offense vs a talented A&M defense. Low scoring one here, 27-17 LSU

At Alabama L
As much as I want LSU to go undefeated the odds of that are low. It can certainly happen, but with the gauntlet of the SEC and traveling on the road to Bama it is tough to mark this a W. Bama will have a great WR corp and I think Simpson is a more polished passer than Milroe. 37-31 Bama narrowly wins

Vs Arkansas W
Taylen Green is very talented but all they got at Arky I feel. They always play LSU scrappy, but LSU off a loss comes out firing. 45-23 LSU

Vs Western Kentucky
They were in the conference USA championship last year. Played Boston college pretty tough. But LSUs talent level and superiority shines. 42-17 LSU

At Oklahoma W
Went back and forth on this one. OU should have a top notch defense, but then I went down the list of game changers on the offensive side of the ball for them. I just don’t see it besides Mateer. I think this is a close game, but ultimately LSU has the edge especially on offense in my opinion. 33-24 LSU

11-1 with an SEC championship birth and playoff appearance.
