This chart of when AI is being used is pretty revealing.

One of my coworkers uses AI for everything and our older bosses can’t tell

It’s annoying and dishonest, given the field I’m in

I’m in engineering. It helps with pointing to the proper code and regulations but can’t make correct calculations and makes uninformed engineering judgment.

Made a thread a few weeks ago about how my company was giving all sorts of parameters around AI being used in interviews.

They were correct. I've had 6 interviews this week with varying degrees of obvious AI usage beyond building their resume.

Give a scenario that requires thinking? They sound like idiots. Give a question with a clear answer? They pause for a moment after the question is asked then they give the AI definition verbatim.

The best one I've interviewed this week was an MIT grad and he at least was honest. He would give the theory and if I asked for specific syntax or code examples he said he would use AI for that

It's all fun and games for now. The machine uprising is coming, there's no stopping what can't be stopped. To prolong your existence be stocked up on 7.62x51 or greater. This round in fmj will penetrate the subdermal armour of a T-800

What if I told you that cryptocurrency mining was a surreptitious enterprise build a proxy network for enhancing intuitive performance when AI takes over?

So Ai use increases drastically when 10's of millions of young people are more likely to use it?

This shouldn't be that riveting.

So was this chart also generated by AI?

Not long enough to extrapolate data/conclusions from?

Even the paid version started outside this dataset.

I’m using multiple AI systems for my businesses and it has been a game changer. We have laid off around 20% of our operation and severely cut back on our outside legal needs. Also we went from hiring 7 different outside lawyers down to 2 in-house lawyers with better efficiency and results.

Accounting, IT, legal, and HR layoffs were the biggest positions impacted. AI is a tool that needs to be monitored but the results thus far have been impressive.

You can really identify the shitty employees within mins using different metrics. Profits have increased significantly.

With all of that said NO company or individual should ever use Open AI in any capacity because it will steal your technology and work flows.

Ai adaptation is weeding out a lot of companies. They are self selecting short gains as a result of not knowing their own business.

Likely a reason they were already underperforming.

Anyone's business fundamentally changed by the current level of AI only reveals how stone age they were operating at.

The equivalent is a company ot realizing excel isnt a database program.
