Sweet. Hopefully it replaces the Pearl Jam channel.

Please keep Tom Morello far away from it.

interesting as they relly dont have alot of studio albums ..wonder if it will do alot of rare live stuff and uncuts plus interviews ..should be good. I like Metallicas first 4 albums ,after that Black album was solid but too commercial and after that they put out crap other than Death Magnetci has some good tracks ..this last album BLOWS 72 seasons or whatever and Hardwired has 1 or 2 strong tracks the rest is meh ..

"...exclusive channel delivers continued access to Metallica’s expansive catalog – from mega hits and deep cuts to live shows and behind-the-scenes stories straight from the band. Additionally, fans can expect rare recordings, exclusive interviews, and surprises curated by the band members..."

Do people really listen to the artist channels?

I like Tom Pettys channel, especially when they have reruns of him being DJ.

Darkness had a son is a good tune

I heard that in the car this morning. Channel 42, I believe, starts on the 29th. I'll put it in my presets.

Ozzys Boneyard isn't bad. Last week was cool because they played all you know what

Crazy take.
You Must Burn, Room of Mirrors, Too Far Gone, Inamorata are all great, the whole album is on replay a lot.

Heck Winger is heavier than they are now
So you've haven't actually listened to the last two Metallica albums. Good to know.
They were called sellouts when they released Fade to Black. Then again when they made a video for One. The sellout label is completely meaningless.

I’ll never understand this take.
Sad But True might be their heaviest song ever. Wherever I May Roam and Of Wolf and Man are two of my favorite Metallica songs ever. Nothing Else Matters and The Unforgiven, while slower paced, are a couple of the most powerful ballad type songs ever written. Enter Sandman has one of the greatest heavy riffs ever written. It’s a great & heavy album.
Listened to in a vacuum, I don’t see how anything on that album is commercial or a significant shift from previous work aside from a few shorter songs (7 of 12 were still over 5 minutes, with 4 of those being over 6 minutes). For me it’s their 3rd best album behind Ride the Lightning & Master of Puppets. To me there’s a vast difference between having mainstream success and songs being “commercial”. It’s just one of those bandwagon things everyone jumped on imo.
Next people are going to try to tell me Nickelback sucks.

2 of my all time favorite tracks of theirs - The God That Failed and My Friend of Misery...I don't see how anyone could say they are "too commercial".
I also think Load is incredible and the hate is unjustified.

THey turned into posers .. NOW, if they ever found a way to get rid of LArs ,and get a real metal drummer ,they would get back to putting out RESL definitive metal again . But dont see tht happening
