“He was a singer, musician, actor, teacher, artist, poet, and painter,” the statement continues. “Chase was a beacon of light with a magnetic personality and zest for life that touched everyone he encountered, both in person and online.” Filandro was a vocalist for the five-part indie rock band Just Add Water, which played gigs throughout Long Island. He performed in a show with the group as recently as last summer.

had a very close friend that committed the big S back in February, if anyone was, it would have been him, sort of changed the way I view people that commit suicde

That’s how people cope with irrational thoughts when they have no explanation why someone commits suicide. They’ll say anything positive to cove up the fact the guy some type of demons.

No idea who the dude was, but I hate reading about really young people dying by suicide. Supposed to be the prime of their lives and instead they were in such a dark place that suicide seemed like the best option. Sad shite.
