When did the “push present” become a thing?

It’s gotta be up there with gender reveals in terms of being another unnecessary trend. Sure, treat your wife and all but clearly most people do this to post it on social media. Sad times.

I feel blessed as I have never even heard of a push present. That's how I know I'm living my best life.

i know a bunch of people that have had babies the last 10 years, I cannot recall a single time that I've seen a push present posted on social media, and I know plenty of them got push presents
Get better friends on social media

My wife thought it was as ridiculous as men think it is. Her push present is the child that we made together.

I'm not interested unless it involves blowing something up and the potential for serious bodily injury. The videos of this nonsense are just going to be boring.

Wait, so a Push Present is a gift to the wife for pushing out a baby? Huh, I guess I did give one of those 9 months prior. She's welcome

Ohhhh... it's a gift for having the baby. I can't say I got one, but what's the big deal?
And... what if there's a Csection? Does that qualify?

You know it doesn't. It's not called the mutilation present

Well, that pisses me off.. I had two Csections and I deserve a present, too!!

maybe edit the title to don't read this it's irrelevant. Maybe save someone the 5 minutes of time I just wasted

I just laugh. The push present IS the baby.
You're welcome.
You're welcome.

Some do. It's usually a surprise when the sheriff knocks on your door to serve you child support garnishments.

I've never heard of "push present", so I will not be stipulating that it currently is "a thing"
