Astros AAA affiliate is not Fayetteville.

He’s in High A.

I’m being told he is getting called up this weekend. Absolutely incredible how fast he pulled this off, really happy for the young man

He’s playing CF too. Everyone said he needed to come back to prove he could play a position…..

For those of us who are not so sure, how does SEC competition compare to high A and low A?

There might be some innings on an SEC Friday night that would resemble AA. And there might be some innings on an SEC Sunday that would resemble rookie ball, below Low A.

The high variance in talent level and development on a college roster means that you can’t say with any certainty that the SEC is as good as this level or not as good as that level. It changes too much within a given game, let alone over the course of a weekend or season.

The Astros really love him. They are going to play him all over the field. Can’t wait to watch him progress
