Clocked on GPS running 23.7mph!
Supposedly an all time LSU record
That would make him faster than Trindon
Do we see him return punts?

We have 3 elite punt returners so no. And that’s a different thing than just straight line speed.

Did they have the ability to do GPS speed tracking of individual athletes back during Holiday’s time?

No. You don't want to risk him getting injured on a kickoff return. Plus we have very good returners currently.

Some article I read recently said Hilton runs a 4.2. Not sure how accurate that is or how accurate the reading was but he definitely can fly.

no, he just made that up

quote:

The 6-0, 190-pound senior, a former three-time Louisiana state high jump champion, has hit 23.7 mph on the GPS, an all-time LSU record. He also has clocked a 1.37 10-yard split off of a 1-yard lead-in, another program record, and he’s timed in the high 4.2s in the 40. On a team with plenty of Freaky receivers, including track star Jelani Watkins and Barion Brown, coaches say this is the program’s biggest Freak.

There are multiple plays vs OU and Baylor where he runs by defenders.

Speed is one thing, but the ability to avoid getting hit by evading tacklers is more important. How fast can he cut and juke players out of their cleats????

Nuss has to check down with all 3 receivers and TE. He has a bad habit of just looking for one receiver then gets happy feet. He has to do what JB did, sit in the pocket and hit who is open and do not project to just one receiver including the TE. Hilton, Parker , Brown and Anderson, no defense can cover these 4. Nuss gets protection we will carve up defenses.

I guess as the starting WR he doesn't have such ability!

Honey Badger only ran ~4.5 & was an elite punt returner.

Holy shite! He can fly?!?! Nuss can just chunk that ball in the air and Hilton can fly to it. Or we can hand off a jet sweep and have him fly above the defense and land in the end zone.

Can we please stop repeating this bullshite? He had some rust that he got rid of pretty quickly. Remember he was out a long time before he got fully healthy again.
