If we walk away with 2 high end starters (banks - LT, stutsman - Lb) and 3 rotation/starting caliber (sanker - S, Riley - cb, and Neal - rb) it'd be an amazing draft even with shough not being a starter.

That's not including I think Broughton will be a rotational big for his career. This can be akin to that 2015/16 class just get some good building blocks to rebuild.

Had an Okie friend tell me about him last year. Type of guy you look back at years from now and wonder how he lasted as long as he did in the draft.

Over analyzing 40 times, hieght/weight and other measurables obviously are to blame while overlooking film.

Stutsman(Stud Man)
Riley
Sanker
Neal

These are headed for draft steal status.

Banks by all accounts will live up to the draft status of a top 10 pick.

Everyone else has shown some promise but time will tell.

He's going to be a stud and is going to show just how overrated Warner has inexplicably been in comparison.

I think Saints had a very very good draft class except for 1 pick.

You can’t throw away high draft picks !!

Not very cryptic. Hahahahaha

His measurables were actually really good also.

Inside linebackers are like guards in the draft. Even with the combine numbers, “hE oNlY hAD 20 sAcKs iN 4 yEaRs!” Idea takes power over common sense.

The guy is basically a poor mans Urlacher. We’re running a 3-4 right? Yeah I need a guy that plays inside Lb to also cover and not just be a pass rusher/run stopper on the interior.

Do you mean Pete Werner? What? Werner had 92 tackles last year and 93 the year before. His pff. rating last year was a 69 and he and D.D. were ranked the #8 LB duo in the NFL. Overrated? Disappoinment?
Sarcasm??

His measurables were super elite

I think his film (coverage, specifically) is why he fell

Except Urlacher had a lot of time at S in college b/c of his coverage and Stuntsman isn't very good in coverage.

He was my fav pick of our draft. I watched a lot of film on him. He dropped in the draft b/c of some coverage concerns, and he’s not a knock down, sure tackler like Demario. He’s usually in the right spot but can be more of a drag down tackler.

And the linebacker position like safety and running back has been getting devalued in the league the last few years.

Very good pick in the 4th. I really liked our draft outside of the 2nd and 3rd rounds reaches we had.

I know what you mean. I'm not an Oklahoma fan, but I did see two games they played and he stood out among everyone. They kept calling his name.

So I was really excited when the Saints drafted him.

This rookie class might be very good. We need that desperately. We need youth in all areas of this roster.

I have made a similar comment right after the draft (so at the risk of sounding repetitive), it appears to me that CKM made it a point to focus on talented……but high character guys for this draft class.

Does it mean that it will all work out? No, but IMHO…. I like the approach of loading up that first draft with high character guys to start helping lay a foundation.

I have seen stuff during the past CFB season highlighting the character specifically of Banks, Stutsman, Shough, Neal, and Riley.

Even if it is a difficult season (HIGHLY LIKELY), I feel pretty good about the way CKM is trying to lay a foundation on character
