Has this flown under the radar for anyone else?
Player introductions and pit stop demonstrations are currently taking place.
**
Big Papi currently giving weather updates:
“Lotta green, lotta green Kevin. It don’t look good.”
***
Tarp is off, but Big Papi has migrated to the bar.
****
Now we have Ron Guidry and Rollie Fingers in old footage riding out of the bullpen in a Ford Pinto.
*****
9:50 EDT
Raining hard, bats slipping & flying into the stands, and water pooling on the base paths.
*******
9:58 EDT
Another delay as the grounds crew tries to treat the infield and base paths.
********
Play suspended, the game will resume at 1:00 EDT on Sunday, August 3rd.
**********
The extravaganza has finally concluded after nearly twenty hours of competition.
The Braves of Atlanta go into Tennessee and defeat the Red Legs of Cincinnati, Ohio by a score of 4-2.

Huge baseball fan so I’ll watch, but the pregame shite is as gay as it gets. Good god almighty

I’ve been looking forward to it all week, just a cool little midseason gimmick that I can appreciate.

It’s alarming how frequently these major leagues just absolutely whiff on their pre game and halftime entertainment.
They have unlimited money and can do market research and just constantly throw out the cringiest shite.
Sucks about the rain delay

For me, it has. Completely forgot about it until I was listening to some sports show this morning. Thought I'd check it out.
For the Vols/Hokies game here, I thought beforehand it was nothing but a gimmick but it seemed kind of interesting watching it.
I just don't see how baseball will be appealing in this scenario. Maybe I'll be surprised. Wish there were two better teams playing though.

They have entertainment for this?
If it's not, Charlie Daniels (RIP in Peace), I don't want to see it.

AROD is going to be blacker than Wesley Snipes in 2 years.

They don’t want to offend anyone.

Derek Jeter is the only professional in that group. Ortiz and ARod are idiots clowns. At least Ortiz is likeable I guess.

Braves: zero fans before 1991. Definition of bandwagon. Most overrated baseball franchise in the last 35 years. Debate.

Wrong.
Braves had already developed a nation wide following by the early-mid 80’s courtesy of cable TV and old “superstation” WTBS.
I was one of those fans who could catch the Braves anytime I wanted during the summer….living in Nebraska.
Miss those days.
