I’m watching a little bit of the QB show on Netflix this morning and Burrow is so easy going which is why he gets the Joe Cool moniker. I just wish they would move on from Taylor so Burrow could win a couple of rings. He needs an alter ego coach like Orgeron to make the Bengals successful while he is there. Having two guys steer the ship the way him and Taylor do is the reason they start so slowly and can’t finish. No sense of urgency at any moment it seems. Burrow and Orgeron were just the perfect fit for each other and the talent around them helped, obviously.

Joe Burrow once got in a fist fight with Patrick Queen over an offseason workout. Lack of urgency is not something he is known for

Other players would laugh at Orgeron and not respect him at all at the pro level. His charade wouldn’t work.

Orgeron obviously isn’t a pro coach, but Dan Campbell does well with that level of outward intensity.

To be clear I’m not saying Joe isn’t intense,I’m saying he is introverted. He needs a loud coach.

Orgeron wasn't even the coach of that team. He was just a hype man. He's like the Flava Flav of coaching.

And I think the Bengals have many more problems than Taylor as the head coach. Notably, the owner.

Amazing how many people don’t understand the NFL. The Bengals problem isn’t with the coach, it’s the owner. The owner isn’t interested in winning, just collecting his billions in revenue.

The NFL is in the entertainment business. Most owners only care about one thing: their profit margin.

Man, should be easy for BK to coast to a championship this year then if that's all it takes.

If either of the coordinators were the head coach you lose a couple of games. Orgeron was necessary and deserves credit.

That’s not really accurate anymore. Look at the last few years — the Bengals have made major strides that show ownership does care about winning. They drafted Joe Burrow and surrounded him with weapons like Ja’Marr Chase, Tee Higgins, and a rebuilt offensive line. They also spent serious money in free agency for once — like signing guys like Trey Hendrickson and Orlando Brown Jr. Plus, they upgraded their facilities and finally committed to building an indoor practice facility, which was a longtime complaint. You don’t make those moves if you’re just trying to coast.

I blame the Bengals organization more than anything as far as not putting together a competitive roster.

WTF does this mean?

I don’t think you understand what alter ego means.

We have no way of knowing this, so it’s a silly thing to say. I agree that Orgeron deserves credit, but we don’t know what the outcome would have been with someone else as head coach.

Yeah. What the Bengals need is a worse head coach in order to win. Makes perfect sense.

Introverted people don't dress like that fig.

Not saying he is a top tier coach but I definitely think the bengals as an organization have bigger fish to fry.

Orgeron is a meathead, his headset wasn’t plugged in

Well Saban actually knew football and just had authority problems with getting his message across to NFL players.
Ed probably would have had an easier time with relations, but wouldn't have a clue what to tell them.
