Need to replace my 2” I think blinds in house.

8 in bedrooms
4 in kitchen dining area

Then I have 2 bathroom windows w frost glass need to do something.

I guess are Roman shades coming back? Cordless blinds are becoming more of a thing? Any success stories from ordering online and getting good quality product?

I wouldn't be concerned with fad or fashion. Get what you like.

I recently removed drapes from every window. I kept the blinds and really like spartan look of the windows sans drapes.

we've never had any window treatments. been here 16 yrs.
BUT we've decided to do drapes in the upstairs guest bedroom. large triple window gets too much morning sun for anybody to sleep there. if that works, maybe do our bedroom next

We have just drapes on our windows.

Took the blinds down years ago.

I was surprised how affordable custom wood blinds are. Compared to the faux wood 2.5" from lowes/HD, for us it came out to about 1.5x the cost. I wish we did it on more windows instead of just the funky ones with the curved top windows.

My wife just had custom Roman Shades made for our new house...Apparently it's the "in thing" again.

We did the same thing. Nothing wrong with blinds, but decided to change things up. Been 20 years since we’ve had blinds. It’s so much easier. The ones in the kitchen are different colored than the living room so all the windows don’t look the same. I was apprehensive when my wife suggested it, but after she put them up they looked trendy and stylish. It took 5 minutes to hang all of them. The good thing is they can be thrown in the washing machine because of all the odd things to be allergic to I’m sensitive to dust. It’s impossible to avoid dust. I look how you can just grab them by hand and slide them open. 2 seconds and they are open or closed and even when closed you still get a little bit of light in. Surprisingly it was cheap to buy.

Automatic roller shades. Love the programmable open and close times.
