Ones that help a turtle cross the road and ones that hit them on purpose

What kind of person are you?

I'm a stop and move them type of person. Truth be told, I even try to avoid running over snakes in the road.

Ppl who intentionally hit animals or other living things crossing the road are pathological psychos.

I swerve to miss the turtle and wish the little guy well but I'm not getting out to move it. I've heard of too many dumbasses who get hit and killed while trying to move turtles.

If traffic allows, I will stop and move them in case there are deranged psychos who will be on the same road behind me who would hit them.

I won't block traffic or endanger myself to relocate a turtle though.

I like Turtle Sauce Piquante so I guess it depends on the type of turtle we are dealing with?

Same here, depending on traffic I'll help turtles & snakes get out of danger.

I do my damn best to avoid them------especially when on my motorcycle.

Hit a turtle just right on a motorcycle and you'll find yourself eating asphalt.

I see incredible box turtles around my house almost daily in the summer. Always help them along if I spot one in the road. They can live to be 150 years old. They never have much to tell me about history though. Unless I do shrooms.

A recent beauty.

I fricking tire squished a raccoons face one AM on the way to work.

I knew I hit something, 30 mph, but it was also 5AM and dark, I didn’t hear a yelp, so I figured not a pet.

For about 6 hours at work, I was thinking about it. I decided to take that same route home.

At the perfect moment as I was driving by the crime scene, a jogger was where the thing died, ohhh boyyyy…the look of horror on this dudes face.

I had my window down and just yelled, ‘I did that!!!’
