Give me one preseason game at least lol The following weeks practice lineup will show us a lot.

Wide receiver group is just hard to fathom.
I think there’s not a difference after you get past Cooks.
Just a bunch of uber drivers.

Yes a much clearer picture after the preseason gets underway.

Alvin Kamara
Kendre Miller
Devin Neal (rookie)
Roster cuts: Cam Akers, Clyde Edwards-Helaire, Velus Jones Jr., Marcus Yarns (rookie)
This part is actually funny. If you told someone we would not only have but also cut Akers and CEH for Miller and some rookie even a couple of years ago people would think you are insane. shite moves fast.

Mason Tipton has had a great camp but he needs to stay healthy and consistent. After him it seems to be a crap shoot. They brought Kevin Austin back his size is an asset but he just doesn't separate himself from the rest of the group.

No clue why people would think Neal makes this team over CEH. If you watched Clyde play last year he looked good and rested. They liked him so much they signed him to an extension. Neal hasn’t done anything worth mentioning so far and was a 6th round pick. With that being said i could easily see him being stashed on the practice squad or Clyde being cut and instantly brought back. I just can’t see them going into the season with only Kamara as their only true experienced rb

I thought Clyde looked awful
We re-signed him for pennies. He and Neal actually have the same annual salary. Let’s see how they do in the preseason games.

I interested to see what Donovan Peoples Jones does. Although I havent heard him brought up much yet.
He's a bigger WR compared to the main trio we know is making the team

CB: Alontae/
CB: Koolaid/ Yiadom
CB: R Payton/ Q Riley
FS: Reid/ Howden
SS: Blackmon/ Sanker/ JT Gray
K: Grupe
P: Burnip
LS: Wood
QB: Shough/ Rattler/
RB: AK/ K Miller/ Neal
WR: Olave/ Means
WR: Cooks/ Tipton
WR: Shaheed/ C Wilson
TE: Juan J/ Taysom (+1) / Foster M (+1)

RG: Ruiz/
RT: Banks/ Radunz
(4) spots
D-Line: Diggs/ Omari/ Boyd/ Jonah Williams
QB: Haener
OL: Landon Young/ Ezerim/ Saldiver

No way we keep only (5) receivers after last year and not a single receiver over 6'.
Maybe we cut Sheppard/ Saunders for young guys but its not looking promising.

This is a really bad roster. I’m fine with it. Need to rebuild. Very little top end talent.
OL has potential. WR is a joke. The entire D is suspect. LB may be the strength. Really poor DL and secondary

This is a really young roster
We could have a few studs in the mix.
Our O Line is one of the youngest in the NFL and one of the best.
Our CB's could surprise us and aren't "terrible".
Our Safteys are strong IMO.
Our LB's could swing either way but Sewell and Stutsman look very promising and Demario may be here for another year or 2 if his comments are true. We could have (4) starting capable LB's which we haven't had anything close to in a while.
We are in purgatory at D-Line with mediocre aging guys and a bunch of young guys who haven't moved the needle yet. But Breese is a stud and I expect both Granderson/ Young to get better with new coaching and schemes. Its a good start. We really need (2) of the young guys to outplay the vets and yeah we don't have the best odds there.
I think the gameplan was to have an influx of young defensive guys and pray that most of them fill our needs. Then next year the focus will be solely QB/ WR/ TE/ D line depending on how things play out.

Idk why anyone thinks he looked awful. He looked better than any back we had minus Alvin behind that destroyed oline we had. He broke a lot of tackles, received the ball well out of the backfield. Granted it was 2 games in limited snaps. But to think we should cut a 26 year old vet that doesn’t have alot of miles on him for a 6th round pick who has done absolutely zero and nobody has even heard his name coming out of training camp is weird. I liked the Neal pick a lot but to think he’s making this team over CEH when he’ll easily make it to the practice squad doesn’t seem logical. But, just a lot of assuming for our fanbase to think a 6th rounder is just automatically making this team without even seeing him play

Foskey is pathetic
Crazy that’s he’s notre dames all time sack leader. One of the more storied colleges in history. And he was getting outplayed by guys off the street last year.

I thought he looked like our 2nd best back last year. Looks like he needed to shed a few pounds and get back in football shape to get his quickness back, but it was promising in the little I saw. Not sure what you were watching.
I think he’s a perfect number two or three.

Broughton doesn't appear to be as far along as we were led to believe when the Saints drafted him
Same story for both of the picks I hated the most in this draft.
Burned a 2nd and 3rd when we could have had Mason Taylor who’s is getting rave reviews at jets camp or Ezeriku.
Plenty of other talent in the third round also.

His competition for 2nd best back was dogshit Jamaal Williams and hurt/doghouse Kendre Miller.
He had 3 catches and 46 yards rushing. Not to mention his production in KC was on a severe downward spiral.
He might beat out Neal and kudos if he does. But camp reports mean nothing, imo, for RBs. Only what happens when the bullets are flying matters.

Probably keep both, Clyde and Neal somehow.
