to things like NPR and NED. For example…NED is the National Endowment for Democracy. A deep state swamp program. They slipped 300 million in for that.

They are never going to quit and are so sneaky about it. It’s sickening.

This crap needs to be grok'd to kingdom come and shouted from the rooftops. There's no other way the average working citizen can keep up with the shenanigans.

Trump can fix this by coming out and stating that any bill like this will be vetoed.

The US finds itself in a tough position because we all know that China will attempt to fill any gap that we leave. So if we pull back too much we’re ceding influence to China and others that aren’t friendly to us. Isolationism is not the answer in today’s world. Neither is funding everything across the globe. But we have to navigate those waters.

This is why Musk had a breakdown and left the white house. I tried telling everyone this but the weirdos were busy in character assassination mode rather than logic.

Essentially, DOGE cuts were being refunded back to these programs based on pre-Trump government accounting. Essentially, DOGE was trying to tell everyone that a USAID hammer doesn't cost $11 million, but really $15. So the DOGE cuts were made. Then, the geniuses that crafted this bill used the same multiplier they always use to encourage massive waste/fraud/abuse but renamed it "the big beautiful bill". Now DOGE will have to work double time to go back and remove all that fraud and waste again.

Yea, so they can spend the money any way they want with no oversight.

Yep, then putting some name on it like "Save the Children" act so that when Republicans push back against it, they say "See, the GOP doesn't care about your children."

Yep it's that simple....if you want to own DC own the budgets. His first term he didn't own any of the budgets. 2nd time should be a charm.

Those may have been the original goals but the swamp corrupts those goals to line pockets and promote globohomos.
