There will be better:
Cars
Refrigerators
Air Conditioners
Heaters
Hot water heaters
Ovens
Also planes, trains and trucks….
Know what that means? Cheaper shite across the board. And more mean treats.

While it should, it likely won't.
Manufacturers design vehicles in particular years in advance, so let's say this deregulation allows vehicles with less emissions, by the time auto makers get these to production a new regime will be in, possibly from the opposite side of politics that will likely install these same or tougher standards.

Scrubbing voter roles clean and ridding the USA of fake voters may let the country be what it is….a right of center country all along.

Ir they can just adjust their factories to produce the “too cool for America” models that they ALREADY sell overseas.

With computer design the time is much shorter now.

Lower interests rates are bad too and it’s bad for Coke to use cane sugar because….blah blah blah.

Yep! I saw a lot of cool rides they don't sell here when I went overseas last month. Diesels with no emissions was a beautiful sight to see!

True, but it’s not that difficult to retool these manufacturing facilities. This is especially true when they’re sitting on tens of thousands of EVs (and other “green“ consumer products) that no one wants to buy.
I saw a report the other day that showed thousands of Ford F150 EV‘s just sitting in lots because they just can’t sell them, i.e., no one wants that garbage. This will be highly exacerbated when the tax credit is eliminated.
As all the fraudulent predictions of climate, hysteria doom and gloom are proven to be false, more and more people will reject the whole green agenda. And, like those of us who always knew it was a complete fricking hoax from the beginning, they will insist on their right to choose what they want to buy rather than what the government tells them they can buy.
As I’ve stated in other threads, I’m just waiting until Toyota starts putting in those old 6-cylinder, bulletproof engines in their new Tacomas. I’ll buy the first one that comes off the assembly line. Unfortunately, right now, thanks to the climate change fraudulent freaks, I don’t have that choice.
Having said all of that, let me be clear that I don’t want them to stop making EVs entirely. There is still a small market for those vehicles. For instance, people who literally never leave the city where they live. Also, idiots and cultists who will never be convinced that the whole climate scam was a complete hoax. They can keep buying these cars and trucks while manufacturers (and other concerns) keep working on improving the technology.
If they ever come up a better product with a battery that can go at least 1,000 miles without recharging and a battery that doesn’t need to replaced every 5–10 years at a cost of $5,000-$40,000, then I think more and more people will CHOOSE to purchase EVs.
It’s funny that the Dems are always accusing Republicans of being fascist. Yet, they want to force the entire country to live according to their deranged and demented agenda.

lol they can change on the fly

A lot of smaller products, like FREAKING GAS CAN NOZZLES, can be changed instantly. No, it's not that easy for most items but there is no downside to this.
That said your concern does have some merit, because if this has all of the permanency of an EO it'll just be reversed and companies with a much longer design/manufacture cycle may be hesitant to pull the trigger. What will hopefully happen is that the Dems sue and SCOTUS essentially codifies this change.

I asked AI yesterday why air conditioners don't last as long as they used to. The main answer was to make them use less energy they had to sacrifice quality.

Do you know by chance what year Toyota stopped with the "bulletproof engines?" I have a 2012 Tacoma with a 6-cylinder (only 82,000 miles).

But now they have the power to say frick you to the EPA unless of course Congress passes law.

2023. I think this was all the result of the Obama EPA regulations. Further, as I recall, the Biden administration came in and immediately started talking about instituting final CAFE standards that would require these light trucks to have something like 50 mpgs no later than 2030 (approx). I believe they issued the final CAFE standards in 2022 or 2023.
The Trump EPA just took back a lot of the regulations. I’m hoping a whole new set of CAFE standards will also be put in place so that all of these manufacturers can put V6s their smaller trucks (like the Tacoma) and V8s in their larger trucks (like the Tundra).
At least give people the fricking choice.
