I think it’s the thing most needed for us to make a jump. He left a pile of first downs on the field not being able to tuck it and get 3-4 when it was wide open.

Depends on who he’s paired up with. Can break 90 10% of the time

They’re just setting up a narrative and a fall guy. That’s all this nonsense is.

Hope it’s more than 3 yards and a cloud of dust.

Nuss has the ability to scramble! I think you see more of it this year! Like JD5 first year scramble first second year went through his progression his improvement! Nuss improvement may be he takes what’s given to him

You will get downvoted for this but you are right. He has the ability, he just needs to get the 5-10 yds and get out of bounds

Scramble is not the appropriate term. He needs to recognise and take off when the opportunity presents itself. A couple of months ago I was watching Locked on LSU. He showed a couple of plays where you could see 40 yards of green for him to run. Instead he threw risky incompletions.

Need to balance the playcalling. That’ll go a lot further than Nuss running

While you are right loyalty hurt us LSU! We play Jackson over Durham! Which limited the play calling! We didn’t have anyone that was a true threat deep so that compacted the field

The JD thing really warped some minds. His first season he had 86 scrambles but most of our fans only see rushing attempts so they think that’s part of the run game when those are pass plays called. We have to run the ball more and more effectively to win anything that matters.
