The hate everyone has on Twitter.
Also, Twitter and Reddit NSFW pages add to other addictions.
Tell your loved ones to take a break. It truly will make you happier and change your life for the better. No need to compare yourself to someone else’s life. No need to consume so much information that doesn’t affect you, focus on your family and being the best version of you.

Like any other addiction, the user has to want to stop in order to quit.
My 15 year old is an example. We take his phone at night. He plays club soccer and makes straight As, so it isn’t impacting his life completely. But if we let him, he will sit on his phone for 5 hours straight. He does not see this as a problem at all

What really irks me are the regurgitated videos of some distressing event posted by an obvious troll account with the intention of keeping people bitching. Then, when posters get called on it, the response is nonsense like "Well, more people need to know stuff like this happens".

Politics, gossip, left vs right, us vs them infighting, fake evidence you can trust, and even a little soft porn thrown in for good measure.
