If there was no "list" how did the DOJ question Maxwell about 100 people?

Where did the DOJ get information to come up with this list, or did they just start with Ronald McDonald and pull other names out of thin air?

If they’re having to see if Maxwell can add anything that would thereafter enable them to consider actual charges, then it would logically follow that to date they’ve not possessed enough credible and reliable evidence with which to proceed. Meaning had they released those names on “the list “ they’d have irresponsibly disclosed to the public the names of technically uncharged and under the law “innocent” individuals.
Perhaps this point you raised is unfortunately the best argument against having thus far released “the list.” Do you copy? Over.

No I dont copy.
We were told there was no list, none, nada. Not your interpretation of "a list but not evidence". Here is a direct quote from the FBI press release in July:
Her lawyer did not say she gave them a list, he said "she was asked about 100 people", which means the DOJ had a list.
Copy sparky.

First of all I am FAR more interested in nailing obamagate than this epstein shat, its sucking way too much oxygen out of the room.
But we are doing it to ourselves. The FBI tells us they have gone through reams of paper, data, etc and there is no list.......now two weeks later our DOJ is questioning Maxwell about a 100 people on "a list".
We are on the precipice of the largest presidential scandal of the century and we keep stepping on epstein rakes and letting the media divert our attention and damage our credibility from a doj/fbi perspective.

Nope, there is no list with with all caps heading “EPSTEIN CLIENT LIST,” numbered, double spaced, etc etc. A grocery list is a good example of a list. Or a to-do list. So again, in short, there’s no list.
Are there names scattered throughout the documentation? Sure, it would be crazy to think otherwise. However, my last post above explains why it’s perhaps libelous or slanderous to make a list of all the names referenced and title it “client list” without having pretty solid supporting evidence. See OP title for current actions likely aimed at producing said solid supporting evidence.
There’s just no way around all of that I scribbled out above. Folks are fussing and griping at them over being responsible and cautious in prosecutorial decisions, which used to be acknowledged as a proud American principle.

I only gave you my educated guess to your question.
We mostly have a good idea who his clients were. Gates, Wexner, Bear Stern types. New Mexico Governor, JD Pritzker cousin, etc
I’m with you on the Obama coup. But realistically only Brennan, Clapper, and maybe Comey will get rung up for lying to Congress.

THey didn't. They asked "TELL US, from your memory, who did Epstein supply girls to?"
And she started rattling off names. In the end, it was close to 100 names.
NOW there is an 'Epstein List'. You're welcome!
...BUT most of your leftist heroes will be on it.
Enjoy! :D

There is a big difference between a list compiled by investigators and officials of the DOJ after reviewing all the evidence and flight logs and a list made by Epstein where he supposedly lists a name, dates, and all the things an individual did on his island or ranch. Presumably, such a list would have given Epstein blackmail material. The latter is what most people seem to allude to but there is no evidence that such a list ever existed.
If it had existed then why didn't Epstein try to use it to leverage a better deal with the powers that be? Certainly, Maxwell the ever present assistent, would be in a position to give the DOJ a great deal of evidence against individuals and their specific crimes. If you think Bill Clinton went to the Island 28 times for sightseeing, you are dumber than dirt. The fact that the media doesn't show the slightest inclination to question Clinton proves they are not intersted in the truth.

You are kidding, right?
Give me 20 FBI agents and 30 days with the resources that are available, I would not even have to know your real name, and I could come up with over 100 people, going back to people you don't even remember from your childhood that could make you appear to be a bad person if I use their words out of context
I would not do that and could not do that because I do not have those resources and it would be immoral.
You could do the same to me with same resources.

Folks have about 3% of the knowledge necessary to make all these definitive conclusions about federal investigations when you need 100%. But they have no qualms about making them anyway. Complete lack of self awareness. That’s not intended to be a personal affront, it’s just a reality.

They pieced together their own list but Epstein didn't have one. Those are FBI's lists about Epstein.
He wasn't dumb enough to make evidence.
There are lists, but there is no 'Epstein's List'.

DOJ: Can you name for us people that had access to the island?
GM: Well, there were several pilots, and stewardesses, cooks, maids, masseuse, landscapers, maintenance men, me, Jeff, Bill Clinton, and Prince Andrew, and the girls I that I recruited. If I could get access to my old payroll account, I could give you all their names
So over 20 years, I would say about 100 people
DOJ: OK, I'll get that file and be back tomorrow

Epstein socialized with royalty, politicians and celebrities, with more than 100 names mentioned previously in unredacted court documents released in January 2024.

They just started with a list of males elected to Congress ….
