I can't carry tune in a bucket, I dance like a white guy, and my father had the drawing ability. In short I don't have any. I am sure we have Astaire, Picasso, and Adele.

I have zero artistic ability. But I do admire art and people’s ability to create it.

Yes. I used to paint Disney wall murals. Last one I did was 5-6 years ago, but in my younger days I did a dozen or two. No training other than 1 art class in middle school - I’ve just always been artistic.

Last one I did for my cousin’s little girl…

Came full circle because I did this one on the mom’s wall when she was a little girl almost 30 years earlier…

That was the largest I’ve done - around
8’ x 20’.

The Beauty & the Beast mural took me around 120 hours total.

Thank you. To get the animation look I use high gloss paint - just the little pints of basic colors from the hardware store, then I mix my own colors. Then I outline it with a felt tip marker or Sharpie.

I mean I don’t have this kind of ability…

I went to an all guys Jesuit HS that didn’t offer many electives. But we did have an incredible art program, that was run by a Franciscan brother(monk) who knew his shite.

I’m still handy with a piece of lead, but prefer charcoal as my medium. Ironically, I can’t paint worth a shite, but my free hand work at one time would be considered sketch artist worthy. My father in his 80’s is still an excellent self-taught artist.

I love pottery work and still dabble in clays & ceramics, and have an actual mud room w/ kiln. Trust me, all my extended family & friends have received an original Boomer bowl, plate, or beer stein as a gift over the years, lol.

Outside of some writing and poetry, none.

I'm jealous of people with artistic talent. Its frustrating not being able to create what you feel.

Where you live, in the harsh and beautiful Alaska your poetry must come natural, and the crab legs......

If I made my way there would you rent me a room for a month? I will make up for our missed meal or crab, sorry my sister was sick on my mom's cruise. If not I understand, maybe you can point me in the right direction for a place to stay and a good hiking guide to hire, I don't want to mess with Alaska without someone knowledgeable.

I can’t even draw up a football play, and I have zero skills with my hands. Sometimes I write good articles.

I’ve been working in MS Paint media for a couple of decades now.

It’s taken me a while to really settle down and let the mouse squeak to me rather than me just bullying it.

I’ve been told that some of my work has really helped folks get through challenging times in their lives.

That makes me feel good, I am proud of my work simply from an aesthetic perspective.
