First, this is still way early to make judgement calls on ANY of the QBs.
Second, Moore drafted Tyler knowing about Haener and Rattler, so apparently he wasn't totally satisfied with what he saw.

Rattler was literally a throwaway 5th round draft pick who is 0-7 as an NFL starter
Shough was an early 2nd round pick that the Saints traded up for.
If Shough cant beat out Rattler you literally have to fire everyone on the Saints involved with personnel decisions.

The Saints didn't draft a QB in the Top-40 to not play. And fully guarantee his contact, that's even more reason

I’m old enough to remember years of people on here bitching because we hadn’t drafted a QB early in the draft since Archie…now we draft a QB at 40 and people can’t stop bitching. I think people just like to bitch.

CKM obviously saw something in Shough to make him want to take a chance with a high 2nd round pick. If he were confident in Rattler, I don’t think Shough gets drafted by us.
I think that it would be crazy to NOT start Shough. I think you need to see exactly what you have in Shough to know if you’re going to need to draft a QB high in the 1st next year. The only way to REALLY know that is to give him a nice long runway, and let him go through an entire season with the ups and downs.

Rattler is the go-to right now.
Saints need to practice like he is, too.

I guess the giants screwed up since Wilson is starting and their rookie who they drafted with their first round pick won’t start day 1. It’s official i guess, if you don’t start day 1 then it’s a wasted draft pick. Someone should let all the nfl teams know.

By all accounts Shough is running a distant 3rd in the QB battle. The players see what the good writers covering the Saints see. You can’t artificially and arbitrarily bump someone over the more deserving players without Moore losing the locker room.
The players will have more respect for Moore if he admits Shough is a bust and looks to ‘26 draft for a qb.

2 TOTALLY different situations, and you know that. Rattler is not a veteran that Shough would be under his tutelage. If you have 2 young QBs, then you start the one that you believe COULD be your future. Quit being obtuse
