Herring and another pitcher, Josh Grosz, were both sent to Colorado for 3B Ryan McMahon.
Herring had a 1.71 ERA over 89 1/3 this season between low A and high A.

while it may push him closer to making the majors, it does so in a system significantly worse for player development and for one of the worst teams in the majors.

I wonder if they will just call him up immediately.

Funny enough, Kade Anderson went to the best park baseball is Seattle. This is big for him as the propensity to give up HR was one of his few weak spots. There's an interesting you tube video explaining why. It has to do with weird wind patterns that blow in from LCF, which are opposite from the traditional wind patterns in the Seattle area.

Nothing like going to the worst team and park to pitch for right now… Club control is going to suck for him

Damn that sucks. I was happy for Kade when he avoided it in the draft. Just a graveyard for pitchers.

86. That’s the most wins by a pitcher in their history.

he won't go to the bigs right away, and if he can continue to pitch well in the minors, he will continue to be trade bait, and can possibly get away from colorado…

I will continue to say Denver should not be allowed to have a baseball team. Colorado can't seem to have anything, if it isn't located in Denver.
Pitchers can't pitch there. It's not baseball. Stop playing baseball in Denver.

That’s actually good for him because he will get to mlb quicker

Well that could be career death.
