I was going to try to do a proper review but honestly this shite is trash. Oneida, Nose, and maybe Bitin list are the only songs worth a shite. And 2 of those are recuts.
In fact the two recuts seem oddly placed amongst a pile of shite.
Also he makes fun of all of you that disliked his gay love song.
The fall of Tyler Childers is real.

Definitely a weird album but it’ll grow on everyone. It’s a shock to the system first time through lol. Sounds like a Beatles album if it was sung by Tyler. I bet the live versions of majority of them will be bangers. Just saw him in concert twice and I can tell you he has not fallen.

God forbid an artist makes the music he wants to make.

Oh he’s allowed to. And I’m allowed to call it shite. Tyler could have become one of the greatest of all time. But alas here we are.

A weak, woke hologram of IsaWokesbell. They need to collaborate on a song about the tranny who gets pregnant in the Waffle House bathroom and can’t find an abortion clinic in Alabama.

I feel like these guys aren’t really liberals and they are just getting paid to run a psyop on southern and rural men
That being said if you still support them just move to California already

I've enjoyed it. Like you said, it's different but I don't want my artists to stay exactly the same every time they put out an album. But I'm also not having a meltdown because he doesn't play Feathered Indians or Whitehouse Road anymore.
Also worth noting you have to be a shitty person to wish someone would be back in active addiction just to make music about being in that addiction.
And as you said, he's still fantastic live. Can't wait to see him again. He's selling out shows across the country so anyone hoping for him to go away, well, bless your heart.

Reminds me of a young Waylon Jennings. Kid has a great future.

It's such a shame him and Isbell both. So talented and yet so silly.

I like the new album a lot. I haven’t enjoyed a TC album since Country Squire, and this one is bringing me back into the fold.

Seriously, it's hard to believe they are out there but unfortunately they are. Imagine how much of a mental midget you have to be to grow up in Appalachia and buy into white guilt.
At least it kind of makes sense for these Hollywood or Hampton trust fund kids.

Yeah this album just isn’t for me. It’s just not the type of music I enjoy listening to. Nothing to do with his politics or anything like that it seems he’s just pivoted away from his roots even more. More power to him I just won’t be listening. We had a good run.

This is such a bad argument
Basically all of us here have to go to some box every day of the week and do something we don’t want to do in order to live. Our boss or osha or whatever says we have to wear shoes. Nobody likes wearing shoes and it feels better to be barefoot but maybe shoes make us do our job better
It’s the same thing. Like he did the new “sober” fad and makes shitty music and sky screams about Trump. To use my prior example, he doesn’t have to wear high heels that hurt his feet, he could drink something comfy like miller hi life
Cmon Tyler, put on your shoes, it’s time to go to work

Agreed, his last two albums are pure garbage. I will continue to listen to his old stuff though.

Literally saw him at a fest last weekend and a month ago in Vegas before that. Played whitehouse road both times.

Lulz, guess you wouldn’t understand Appalachian twang and spiritual roots of the region of Eastern Kentucky.
Can’t wait to hear the new stuff at the Healing Appalachia Music Festival this September in Ashland.
