I say two, I’ll take Patrick Peterson over him. Should have won the Heisman in 11.

There are better players. More consistent.
There is not a better playmaker. A guy who can change the game with the spectacular.

Did he do enough to make pro football hall of fame?
I think it’s close but he should get in at some point

Honey Badger had the best single season as a defender without a doubt imo. He was also damn solid his freshman season.
I could see an argument made that someone else is the best of all time when you consider entire career. Not quite sure who that would be though… Some could argue PP7.
MSpears, GDorsey, DWhite, JAdams, etc could be in the discussion, but I’d still take Honey Badgers personally.

If you're over 60, it's Tommy Casanova.
For everyone else it's Honey Badger.

The badger is the best def player ever at LSU

I can make an argument that TM7 was the best defensive player in CFB history.

He’s #1
Which says a lot because we’ve had guys like
Casanova, Spears, Dorsey, White, Peterson,…

4x all pro and NFL all decade team. All decade players usually make it.

Also has a Super Bowl title on the resume

Tommy Casanova should never be forgotten as a top player in LSU football history.

Go look at his hall of fame monitor score and then go look at DBs in the HOF’s score and get back to me.
Safety is also probably the hardest position to get in outside of a kicker or punter.

Never saw a defender at LSU put so much fear into an opposing offense like he did. He knew how to find the ball and take it away like no one else.

Just looked at the QB’s. Didn’t realize Cowboy Troy only had 165 career passing TD’s. Burrow already has 140. Those Dallas Super Bowl rings really help with the HOF.
Troy had 141 InT’s for his career as well.
