Why is it being presented as some massive new discovery??

Dems had 4 years to address the issue.

I consider myself part of the general public, and I knew this. It wasn’t at all hard to learn, I’m not some over-the-top newshound or political junkie. Anyone who didn’t know this really is stupid or they chose not to know.
