Oh wow! He just had his farewell show! He literally meant it as well. What an Icon he lived a lot longer than expected.

He's been sick for years. Sharon has been dragging his corpse around to squeeze every last bit of money she can get out of him.

As a long time metal fan, this doesn't bother me as much as I thought it would. Dime and Chris Cornell died unexpectantly so those had more of an effect on me. Ozzy is still the legend of all legends and his impact on metal can't be understated.

Damn. One of my all-time favorites. I just cracked a cold one in his honor and will proceed to play all of his greatest tunes the rest of the day.

RIP Prince of Darkness

The greatest lazy rhyme ever:

Generals gathered in their masses,
Just like witches at black masses,

RIP to a literal one-of-a-kind

(If Ozzy can die, then so can all of us.)

I can't emphasize enough how much I've enjoyed his music since I was a teenager. People are called legends, icons, and what have you after they pass, but with Ozzy, it doesn't really cover how massively influential the man was. RIP, John Michael Osbourne.

My understanding is he had parkinsons and it progressed rapidly recently, which is why he did that final concert.

I was watching Ozzy videos when I was 8. Got No More Tears on cassette when I was 12. He's been with me since childhood.

Likely the biggest name ever in metal; the metal guy even soccer moms had heard of.
