I've seen some photos and heard some reports saying they are almost unplayable.

Played a couple weeks ago. Not the best shape but certainly playable. There were some bad spots here and there but overall they were fine.

These are pics someone sent me from a few days ago. Looking pretty rough.

They still looked like that this weekend. They were in terrible shape.

That doesn’t look like a normal punch/verticut?

yea it looks odd but I know they punched very recently.

Looks almost like a double punch.

They overseeded in winter and that along with the greens trying to come out of dormancy stressed them too much.

Yes they are not good. Looks like they punched with a wire cake rack making 2x2 squares. In some places a square or two were missing. A shame since the rest of course is in good shape.

I went last week and they said they aerated them on the 7th. The week before that they were great.

They did this same crap last year. Had great greens until may then got hyperaggressive shaving them and then verticut. Greens trashed out until august

To me, overseeding bermuda greens does more harm than good. The transition period sucks. Plus, I like putting on dormant bermuda greens. Fast, with no grain.

Those look like solid tyne punches followed up by an aggressive verticut to try and even out the some of the bumps from solid tyne punch.

Look terrible.

Their greens were finally looking decent too.

Also City Park isn’t in bad shape at all for the price. If someone could get rid if those geese it would help.

Their greens always suck, but it’s a fun little course as long as it’s not too crowded.

Those damn things are on every course.

Their greens are always the best in March-May because of the overseed. June/July is usually pretty rough.
