There was not a more ingenious coach in the history of cfb: LINK

I rest my case.

I would pay a significant amount of money to see this.

A brilliant guy that could have done whatever he wanted in life. Thank god he didn’t chose the lawyer path and blessed us as a football coach.

In a related thought, wouldn't the "Tush Push" be a lot more fun if it was changed to someone having to toss Jalen Hurts over the line to gain?

I would love to have seen that but all the social justice fall-out would have been more entertaining.

Nice, but that first TD the receiver didn't cross goal line with the ball in hands. But I loved how they played Texas.

Pretty sure it was proven to be against the rules, even if I’d pay to see it.

I love to imagine the poor souls trying to talk him out of it. He knew it would work, and he knew the rules would allow it, or at least not explicitly ban it. They would ban it the following week, but he’d save it for a critical moment, and he’d probably always wanted a rule named after him, anyway.
He knew he was right, and he let someone talk him out of doing it because of the optics. And even though it was probably in his best interest to not throw a little person over the line to score a touchdown in a critical moment, I’m sure deep down he always slightly regretted it.

Captain Tony’s FB

Eli Manning, Hal Mumme, Kliff Klingsbury, and other sports people that knew Leach well have been filming at Captain Tony’s in Key West the last few months. Leach loved that bar. They’re making a documentary about him and that is where the idea about throwing the midgets was leaked. When he died so many people in Key West loved him but had no idea he was a football coach.
If you’re unsure of the origins of Captain Tony just google last mango in paradise. I really miss Leach.

I think if you're throwing them it is perfectly acceptable to call them midgets.
