Haven't watched one time since Letterman left (though I've seen tons of cringy clips posted online). Surprised he lasted this long.

I'm guessing that guy thought his tenure would outlast Trump's.

Colbert used to be funny back in the day. Then, his true colors came out and became soft. Good riddance. Hopefully, Kimmel is next.

Steve started taking himself really really seriously. Just about the time he got his own show.

These sort of shows are actually suppossed to do better when the opposing party is in power because it gives them more fodder

He leaned into politics way too much. He never paused on his Trump content.

He'd have been gone a long time ago if not for Trump. People forget that Colbert's Late Show was circling the drain when Trump came down the escalator. Cashing in on TDS kept him going for an entire decade.

Kimmel and Colbert are horrible. Problem is I don't know if the new guys are gonna be any better when/if it's decided who it is.

I haven’t watched one of these shows since Leno. If I want a good laugh, I’ll watch AOC discuss geopolitics with Margaret Hoover.

Yeah. He was funny when we all thought he was only pretending to be an ignorant douche.
