BATON ROUGE — After an undercover investigation into suspected drug distributers, East Baton Rouge deputies with the Gang Intelligence and Enforcement Unit arrested two people and say they seized fentanyl, other narcotics, and several guns. Agents arrested Cameron Wilkinson and Ricky Williams Jr. on July 16. Both men were on probation for prior convictions.
Agents kept an eye on the accused drug distributers in Baton Rouge and Ascension Parish, identifying multiple locations allegedly used for drug operation. Agents made two controlled purchases of fentanyl pills during their investigation, according to officials.
Through their investigation, the agents obtained search warrants for three locations in Baton Rouge, three in Ascension Parish, and for Wilkinson’s vehicles.
GIE Agents and Probation and Parole arrested Williams at an apartment at 740 West Chimes Street on a compliance check before conducting a search of the home. They also searched the other locations and made the following seizures:

Due to convictions of simple burglary, illegal use of a weapon, and theft of a firearm on Oct. 29, 2024, Wilkinson was prohibited from possessing a firearm, officials report. He is currently on probation for these convictions until Oct. 29, 2027.
Deputies say Wilkinson admitted that the blue pills (identified as fentanyl), cocaine, marijuana, and a handgun at the Chimes Street apartment all belonged to him. In addition, Wilkinson told deputies that the cash in his bedroom was from selling drugs.
Officials added that Wilkinson said the fentanyl pills and some of the other drugs located at the Baton Rouge locations were his, as well. He told officials that he gets Williams to sell the narcotics for him.

In December 2023, Williams was convicted of aggravated assault on a peace officer with a firearm, simple robbery, aggravated flight from an officer. His probation for these charges ends in December 2028, which prohibits Williams from possessing a firearm.
During his interview, Williams allegedly told officials he distributes the blue fentanyl pills for Wilkinson and collects the money for the pills. He also admitted that he handled some of the firearms at the Chimes Street location, officials report.

These young men need guidance and to, unfortunately, learn a valuable lesson.
That is a bad business to be in any day.

Storytime -
Circa 1999. Senior at LSU. Apartments right next to original Raising Cane's location. Total shithole of a place at the time. Rent was $230 a month and I split it with a roommate. Beautiful afternoon. Decided to skip class and partake in the devil's lettuce.
Sitting on my couch high as a kite and I hear a rustling noise in the stairwell and hear the neighbor's door get busted in. Look through the peephole and it is the DEA raiding my neighbor's apartment. Apparently he was dealing out of his apartment.
My scared high arse waited 5 minutes. Grabbed my school backpack and walked out my door and headed to class with 15 DEA guys geared up to the max looking at me.
Sidenote - Todd Graves lived in a studio apartment attached to the back of the complex while he was working on the Cane's location next door. Now he is a billionaire and I'll be working till I'm dead. Should have got in on the ground floor of the chicken finger business instead of eating all of the chicken fingers.

Euthanasia should be the answer to this question.
Using the drugs they had so it doesn't cost the taxpayers anything.

The US attorney won't bother with this mandatory felony

The short barrel added to the PS90 would classify that as an unregistered SBR. Not to mention the glock conversion

In 99 I was a senior living off of bright side . I think it was the sheriffs office raided my neighbor for heroine. We were drinking and grilling in front yard and fed them. They were pretty cool.
