California Democrats pass SB549 Authority To Purchase Fire Destroyed Lots for Minimal Cost

This is beyond disgusting on so many levels. Glad Spencer Pratt called attention to this tonight.
Karen Bass has issued almost zero permits for home reconstruction from LA fires. So tonight the California Democrats pass SB549 which makes it very easy for LA county to buy fire destroyed land at rock bottom prices.
California Democrats hope the homeowners get frustrated and sell their land to LA county at below market prices. Governor Newsom now suddenly thanks to SB549 has a $100 million budget for “multi-family subsidized low-income housing" to replace all of the properties that were damaged by the fire but are mired in bureaucratic red tape preventing them from rebuilding. Newsome allocates most of this money to LA County who will then pay a politically connected developer to build low-income housing.
"SB 549 amends NIFTI-2 to enable cities/counties to allocate property taxes to infrastructure districts from Jan 2026, mandating 40% for affordable housing. It authorizes LA County to create a Resilient Rebuilding Authority for 2025 wildfire recovery, empowering it to acquire fire-destroyed lots cheaply, coordinate rebuilding, and develop low-income housing."

Makes you wonder if the fires weren’t planned and implemented by someone with financial interest

And the more that gets bought, the more the prices will drop.

As always they follow the script that we called months or years ago and they don't even try to hide it. Let's see how the 98 percent of the Democrats that owned the homes that were destroyed handle this.

Aren’t most of the ones that lost homes, due to fire, democrats that voted for the ones that did this to them?

They'll get mad and move to Texas or Florida.

Same ploy during covid...
Middle class and upper middle class were not allowed to run their businesses in NYC and other blue cities, earn an income to support their families, and so they had no choice but to sell their commercial property to wealthy and connected investors
Same general operation by Standard Oil maybe a century and almost half ago. They had facilities with zero competition over here, but also had facilities with poorer competition over there. So they undercut the poorer competition with rock bottom pricing, putting those guys out of business, and then bought them up.
ETA: it's never a fricking accident

And they'll keep voting Democrat to the day they f*cking die.
Why?
Well, because mentally disturbed freaks masquerading as women should be able to compete against girls in sports and walk around nude in little girl's bathrooms.
They're completely f*cking brainwashed and there is absolutely nothing they can do about it at this point. Even if the government takes their property, they’ll just keep on walking around this Earth like f*cking zombies pulling a lever for Democrats until the day they die.

This was predicted from the get go.

this happens after a lot natural destruction
hurricane, tornado, etc Go look at the areas that were hit, people who lived there for long time, cannot afford to rebuild, and/or government takes it over, and conglomerates of real estate and investment goons come in and completely change the area.
One only has to look at Mexico Beach(fl), and North of It. There were few homes, some beach homes, etc. now, it's home after home, subdivisions, condos, etc just a fricking mess.

Maybe they should remove their representatives and stop voting for commies.
Posted on 7/16/25 at 6:38 am to MrLSU
They were warned, but kept voting for this anyway.

Or, could definitely be planned moving forward...
Californians voted for this crap and allowed their government to become one that tramples the rights of others in order to give benefits to other people... Unfortunately, our FedGov is not far off...

Imagine a world where Trump let the city burn and then tried to buy the land cheap after refusing to issue permits to the landowners. Think there would be outrage from the left?
