Which F-150 from the last 20 years generally is regarded as the best?

Thinking about retiring my 1999 F1250 work truck and getting an F-150. Is there a consensus?

Nissan Titan and Chevy Avalanche are the best trucks running

The one Alabama fans drive, just to piss you off. I've had five (01, 09, 12, 15, 22), they're overpriced, and under functional, but still better than a Chevy that drives like a couch. It's high time for the V8 frickwits to make an appearance, and also bitch about transmissions.

Keep it, nothing new will be as reliable or as easy to work on.

I can just imagine that all the baws on here have the little "piss on ...whatever truck I don't have..." decal on the rear window of their truck

Unfortunately, you will have to sort through a bunch of these types of answers before someone will actually be helpful. The 2007 may be an honest answer but idk. I drive an old Silverado, so I’m no help for you.

Had a 1999 model which was pretty good then a 2010 with the 5.4 liter which was solid. 2020 I don’t recommend as I had transmission issues at 58K miles (just under the 60K powertrain warranty luckily). Now driving a 2024 and I’ve put 38K miles on it so far with no issues other than hitting a deer 2 weeks ago and f’d up the bumper with the sensors in it. Luckily the grill and hood didn’t get damaged.

I've always liked the early to mid 90s f150s with that square look. I hear they are pretty bullet proof, well at least like the engines and trannies are supposedly. I still would like to get one day.

Figures you would drive a Ford.

Just buy a Toyota pre 22……..thank me after 300,000 with no issues. The 5.7 is literally named the million mile motor. It amazes me when I see these threads. “I know what truck brand is the best in the world for reliability, yet what’s the second or third best”??

I’ve had an ‘08 for about 15 years. Has around 140k on it. Will drive it til the wheels fall off
