Nope! Now let's get the P from Stanford!

I watched a lot of Oregon State games this year and he always stood out to me. Great grab

Guessing he’s your starter at 3B.

Decent slash line and power. Strikes out a lot, doesn’t walk, and is a bad fielder.
Feels like whoever hits better between he and Reaves will play
26% K rate
66 K vs. 30 BB
12 errors, .889 fielding %
Also hit into 11 DPs

Damn, Tanner thought he had the position on lock.

He do. Actually curious if he’s coming to play 1B
quote:
"Caraway’s loudest tool is his raw power and bat speed," Baseball America notes in their scouting report. "He generates tremendous force with his 6-foot-2, 200-pound frame and can hit towering balls to the pull side when he connects, with top-end exit velocities in the 114 mph range. That power comes with a questionable approach and pitch recognition concerns."

Jay is mopping up with kids born in California

Definitely a lot of errors, but scouts seem to think he has a chance to play in the major leagues at 3B.
Numbers weren't as good but he did cut down K rate and increased walk rate from freshman season at OSU (which was cut short due to injury).

Maybe playing on a natural grass surface at LSU will help with that.
Got to look for a silver lining I guess.
In Jay I trust. No way he would want to give up the defensive advantage LSU had this year.

Was rated a top 150 prospect pre-draft. I mean there’s talent. Wonder if this was in the works long before the draft and that’s why he wasn’t selected.
