I saw a preview for this and it looked interesting. Reminded me somewhat of that random teenage X-Men movie with Arya Stark and Anya Taylor Joy.

Posted the trailer a month or so ago. Read the book and am a fan but cant believe they turned it around that quickly. I'm glad to see folks are saying its good.

Anyone still watching this. It is a pretty good little show. I never read the book, so it is all new to me. Looks like the finale is this coming Sunday. I may be wrong, but I think Mary-Louise Parker's character was full of sh!t at the end of the last episode.
Early on in the show, I thought for sure that these kids were going to end up being turned into the breakers from The Dark Tower, but it doesn't look like that is the case. Maybe there is a tie there and I am just not picking up on it.

I think the main kid Luke is ok but I won’t argue at all on the rest. The actress playing the girl cop is terrible too. Is that one scientist Alf’s dad? NM, he’s not but reminds me of him.
