And at this point, rounds 11-20 are more dangerous than rounds 8-10.

That is a very fair point. He maybe drafted in 10-20 rounds but get more money due to money available.

Many players in his situation won’t get selected unless they can agree on terms prior to being selected. And the longer the draft goes on, the less leverage he has.

Jones is a two time champ and is 3rd all time in HRs at LSU. He also came up big and at big times and is legitimately a program great.
And you still feel the need to make shite up to shite on him.

I love the big snugly bear! I hope he one day becomes a pro and joins the long list of Louisianamals to tear it up in the big leagues! But i sure would love for him to come back and truly be one of the program greats! He could finish his career 1 in hr runs and lead his team to a 3rd title!

He would have been. More than likely at a certain point he told teams not to bother because he still had a year to play and maintain leverage.
