Schonbrunn and Belvedere Palaces
Hofburg Palace
Lots of museums
Praterstern
Stelze - deep fried pork knuckle. ScheizerHaus in the Praterstern
The subway system is really convenient to move about the city. Vienna is the UN headquarters for Europe, so expect many different cultures of people.
Hopefully, I will be there 3rd week of August for a few days.

Beautiful city.
I have been there twice, most recently this past April.
The Ringstrasse and the downtown pedestrian streets near St. Stephen’s Cathedral are very walkable. Go in the cathedral and stroll the neighborhood to admire the architecture
Vienna is famous for its elegant coffee houses. Cafe Demel, Central and the one in the Hotel Sacher are some nice ones.
Hofburg Palace and Schonbrunn Palace are definitely worth visiting.
Great city to spend a couple of days in.

Just there in December. 3rd time I've been able to visit this beautiful city. The Christmas Market was spectacular!
#1: Obviously Schönbrunn Palace tops the list.
#2. Catching a performance by the Vienna Boys' Choir is a must. Schedule
#3. Watching the Lipizzaner stallions perform at Vienna’s Spanish Riding School. Schedule

Mozart's house/museum is worth a trip,
would recommend eating at EF16 Restaurant, Fleischmarkt 16 1010
Da Capo Pizzeria right by Stephen's is a good place to grab lunch if you are at the Catheral

No recommendations other than I spent a week there a few years ago during Christmas time and its a really enjoyable city. Plenty of things to do, see, eat, and drink so can't go wrong.

love Vienna, went a year ago right before Thanksgiving. Christmas markets. Lots of good recommendations. Also if you don't have time for the Lippanzer show they have practice every day that you can attend. It's cheap and relatively easy to get in to see.

Go hike through the vineyards circling the city and stop at some of the wine taverns.

If you like museums
The Kunsthistorisches Museum- along with art they have a wonderful Egyptian and roman antiquities collection.
Great imperial armory collection at Weltmuseum
Both museums are in the same area along with the Sisi focused Imperial Apartments.
