Having Walker back will be nice. DH Caratini and at least we’ll only have to trot out two space cowboys. Also, we’re allegedly calling Bryce Matthew’s up though they haven’t made any official transactions yet.

My guess is they are activating Chas, sending Corona down, and placing Jake on the IL.

Not sure on the 40 man numbers though.

Chas and Dubon will get run in CF, Matthews gets a decent sized leash at 2nd and they get Tuve off his legs for a bit at DH

Matthews reward for his promotion is facing deGrom and Eovaldi.

Id set expectations low for him. Hes almost certainly going to have a strikeout problem.

My eyes are still recovering from Corona, Hummel, Trammel, and Short

He should see a good amount of pitches at least I think he is passive (to a fault) at the plate. My expectations are definitely low. I don’t think he’d be up under normal circumstances

Yea same. Hummel’s attempt at hitting RHP breaking balls from Wednesday has unfortunately been on a loop in the head

Seems like with Jake inevitably being out for the year that our hand is forced at the dl. I don’t think we’re going to be looking just for a left handed hitter either.

Someone pointed it out here but fairly sure Hummel swung at a ball that was already in the catcher’s glove on Tuesday

That Cleveland series with the Sugarland guys was as hard for Dana to watch as it was for us.

I'm hoping Matthews has some of that Springer style boom or bust to his game. Hes probably going to have some ugly strikeouts and some empty stretches. Bur maybe like Springer he can go nuts for a week you know?

He is fast too. I prefer this over another high contact overaggressive groundout machine for sure.

This was an unbelievable moment. Like the Yordan donkey against Robbie Ray, I leapt in the air when this was hit.

Chandler and the other co-host are for sure squares, but they got Luhnow on for their podcast.

Apparently he says he would not do the Osuna trade, therefore betraying our beautiful boy Taubman

I always expect a rough start from promising rookies after a callup. People were ready to DFA Bregman when he started 0-30 or something atrocious like that.

Dezenzo to the 60 day to make room for Matthews.

Jake to the IL.
