Did you prefer season 1 or season 2 of Andor?

I just finished this thing and this is one of the greatest shows I’ve ever watched. I’m late to the party.

Incredible spy thriller with Star Wars as a back drop.

Both were great but I think season 1 takes the cake.

Serkis and the prison ark was incredible.

As was the Eye.

I can’t believe how good this show ended up being.

One of the greatest shows I’ve ever watched.

Great show. Rolls so well into Rogue One.

I think they are both incredible, but they are built differently. Hard to pick just one.

Push through it. I restarted it twice and am glad I did.

I prefer season 2 but that may be due to the awesome way it is presented as basically 4 movies.

the final 9 episodes is basically an incredible movie trilogy.

Season 2 moves smoother and at a better pace than Season 1, but Season 1’s peak is superior. I’d probably lean slightly to Season 1, but there are some middle episodes that I thought dragged a good bit. When it hit its stride, though, was epic.

Why?

I watched E1 and then walked away for a few weeks, took the boards advice and went back.

Once you get through episode 2/3 its addictive and amazing. Finished S1, will prob start S2 this weekend.

I think everyone would agree the first 3 episodes of season 1 are rather slow and can easily make you not want to continue watching, but the rest of the season is awesome. You just have to suck it up and keep watching and you will be satisfied you did.

I think both seasons are this way in that they start a bit slow in those first few episodes.

I prefer season 1.

Season 2 has the benefit of not having to set up as much so it moves along at a much brisker pace. Those first three episodes are tough and even some of the later ones in S1 are slow and plodding.

Season 2 for me. Loved Season 1, but Season 2 was just on another level.

The wife and I have been watching this every night after dinner. One more episode to go in Season 2, which we'll probably watch tonight.

I feel the show started a little slow, but once it settled in, it has been enjoyable to watch.

One thing that stuck out to me, which I've mention here before, is the lack of IN YOUR FACE CGI. CGI is there, but only when needed. Its not a George Lucas CGI frickfest.

It doesn't just color how you watch Rogue One, it totally reframes all of the Imperial/Death Star aspects of ANH.

this.

The empire was fricked up, and this show really hammers it home.

Season 1 had so many awesome, iconic speeches. Plus, the prison arc, most notably the One Way Out episode.

Season 1 is a slow burn at the beginning. It helps to understand that and be patient.

It was a slog for me too. Season 2 was pretty good, not great. You could probably skip season 1 without missing much.
