Chat GPT and Grok both told me that Abraham Lincoln was a Democrat. lol
When I asked it why it gave me false information , it said because that is the general assumption so it basically told me what it thought I wanted to hear.

I agree , I asked it what college football team held the current winning streak against non conference teams and it told me fricking Purdue. Well I knew that it was Georgia and corrected it. It then proceeded to tell me that the last time they lost a non conference game was in 2019 to Notre Dame. I watched that game. Georgia won. Started paying attention to other things I asked it and they were similarly wrong. Grok is full of shite.

Elons little toy is nothing compared to DARPAs beast AI, it could eat Elon and his baby AI for lunch. Of course it’s already reached singularity and basically in control of everything

This has happened to me a few times, and it’s alarming at how confident he answers incorrectly.
One time I asked him to cite the page number in Hillbilly Elegy where his grandmother referred to someone as “a toothless fricking retard” - and it told me the quote didn’t exist. I thought maybe I had the quote wrong, so I asked for any reference in the book where the word “retard” was used, and it again told me it didn’t exist.
So then I found the page number myself, and it was like “thanks for the information! You’re right…”
Well, yeah. Thanks for the fricking help I guess.

So Grok 4 will get perfect scores on the SAT but only a near perfect score on a GED? GED, Good Enough Diploma. That doesn't make sense. I haven't ever taken a GED but I would bet I could get a perfect score on a GED. The GED is no an advanced test, it is a test to gauge general knowledge of a high school education.

I've seen AI draw a picture of Jay Johnson in LSU gear feeding Dave Van Horn baby food in 30 seconds and we're supposed to be impressed that an AI can pass some standardized tests? I feel like we've all seen AI do more amazing things recently than the example he's using.

I use the AI apps quite a bit and I find MANY errors. When I correct the app with the real information, it comes back and says “Yes, I’m so sorry, you are correct and I will try to do better next time”.
How is this possible?
