I had no idea, this is great news.

Those guys dropped off the face of the earth and quit their podcast to focus on soccer and movies, wasn't sure if this was still a project for them.

Is it me, or has this show lost it…I mean every now and then they’ll make me chuckle but seems like as they (especially rob “Mac” as he has legally changed his name to now) got more famous, they became less edgy or crude.

No trannies, no more rickity cricket, Mac is gay etc….just seems like he didn’t want to offend anyone now that he was making bank and doing other things.

Season 3-7 were all timers though, some good episodes mixed in from there, but very little to remember from about when Dennis was absent for a season till now.

Absolutely not. Is it as good as their first 6 or 7 seasons? No. But for a comedy show in it's 17th season, it's very good.

They've had one "tranny" on the show total throughout it's existence.

Rickity Cricket appeared in an episode in the last season.

Mac came out in Season 11, well before any of the Wrexham stuff. And it hasn't really been overt in the last couple seasons from what I remember.

It sounds like you are just making up things to complain about. I thought season 16 was great. More hits than misses.

The main issue is that with success they have all had a slight glow up and don't look like dirty brown water trash people anymore. Everything else is consistent, they just look better.

I don't recall much wokeness. The final episode of last season (Dennis takes a mental health day) was one of the best of the series. I'd agree that they've lost a bit of their edge, but I still thoroughly enjoy the series.

We need a filter to hide any post with that word. Meaningless drivel.

A bit?

There is zero edge to this show, and why do you think that is?

Give us an example of this "woke BS" from last season please.

What was woke about last season? They took a trip to Ireland and Dennis had a mental health day to make fun of Gen Z.

If anything, they've switched to making fun of the left more because the left has gotten so comicly extreme.

This was one of the first shows I remember seeing at someone's place in college right when it aired. It was glorious and never stopped loving it since.

One of my favorite show watching memories revolved around The Gang Solves the Gas Crisis. We had about 10 people in our apartment laughing hysterically as Charlie announces he cut the breaks and jumps out the back of the van.

It felt like a first of its kind tv show for our generation.
