I have seen this referenced many times, what was scenario? Something related to the faster you drive the better gas mileage you get?

Obviously the less time the car is running, the less gas is burned.

Baws are in denial that their Dodge Ram 2500 diesel wasn't a great investment for $125k at 10% for 10 years when they live in the suburbs and only really haul groceries and potting soil for their wives, so they feel the need to do 100 mph on the freeways claiming that it's "better" for their truck.

Between 2500-3000 RPM which in most vehicles puts you between 65-75 MPH. If you get on the interstate and set the cruise at 70 MPH and don't come off it that is about the best gas mileage you will get. I can confirm when I have my cruise set on 170 KMPH on the autobahn which is about 105 MPH and about 4000 RPM and I don't have much traffic I eat through gas.

Nothing makes me laugh more than seeing one of these assholes zig zagging through traffic on the freeway during rush hour driving all pissed off.

And heck, they get a two for one--they let the world know how small their dicks are...

No, they don't, I'm behind them every fricking day while they're doing 1mph above the speed limit in the far left lane, with plenty of room to get over.
The F250 I had would get about 15mpg in town, and I drove it as much like a race car as I could on 35mph streets. However, topped out at the speed governor at 94mph on highway stretches I would get 34mpg. I understand the physics of why this happens, but don't try to explain physics to a baw in a grocery hauler.

After 120 mph, you fuel mileage is amazing.
I’m so happy i turned that on here like 10 years ago on here

Didn't his wife find his account and then she started posting and drama ensued soon after? Both were gone not long after that.

I’ve only filled my tank like 7 times since that thread

I run it up to 120-130, then turn off the engine until I get down to about 50, then start it back up and repeat.
Kind of like a wind up car. Amazing mileage.

And leave it running when they park at Circle K to go in and get a 64 oz sugar water and claim it burns less fuel idling than it does to start it.
I know one thing, it is using zero fuel when the motor ain't running and the key is in their pocket.

100mph is the best for fuel economy

I have a 2021 Ram 3500 daully with no mod’s that is my daily driver. 145k miles in 3.5 years, so lots of time in the seat. The sweet spot for me is right around 62 driving on open country roads. I have touched 22 mpg a couple of times and 21 mpg many times. However, I normally sit around 18.
