They got two young prospects and a 2nd for him .... EXACTLY the type of trade I have been saying for a long time.
Can someone tell me why Joe couldn't have gotten that return for him ?
I do understand the value of Saddiq Bey....and it is combined with Poole...but still would prefer what Washington got.
Have a great day all.

Branham and Wesley are going into their 4th years and have seen their minutes reduced every season of their careers. It's kinda like trading for two Kiras and a 2nd.

I much prefer getting Bey

They’re on their way out of the league soon unless a miracle happens

I actually liked KO on this team tbh. But he was old. Taking a swing on Bey was probably worth it.

Two dudes who averaged 8 ppg combined and a 2nd rd pick is EXACTLY what you wanted..go sit down

Thanks all...I guess I overreacted when I saw the two 22 year olds...I am generally a believer in building with youth.
The consensus clearly is we are better off with what we got...appreciate you all informing me.
Have a great Wednesday.

theres a poster here named dinky mulberry. Them and you are the only two posters who use ... in all of their posts. Just a weird observation, thats all

Saddiq Bey is actually the prize of the trade. 2/12.5mil for a 3&D wing that shoots a career ~35% from 3. Just the backup wing that can put up starter minutes on occasion isn't the worst option. he is the new "naji"

That dude hasn't been obsessed with Herb, so he's obviously not Dinky. And ellipses are a very common tool in the internet vernacular. I use them regularly on this site

Re: Dinky Milberry
Thanks for the clarification. No, I am not. I have always been Purpose16. It derives from a great book I read first in 2016. (Have read it a couple of times since: Pastor Rick Warren's "A Purpose Driven Life."
And again, I apologize, I don't know what elipses are.
(I'm Canadian .... apparently we apologize too frequently). Someone once wrote "you are probably the only Canadian EVER on this board."
Hope are are enjoying a wonderful day.

I know that eclipses are common. You might use them some. Those two use them in every single post. Like I said just a weird observation. I know he's not dinky, it was just supposed to be a fun post. Sorry for getting off topic

No need to apologize. I see what you mean with the ... (didn't know they were called elipses). Fun conversation.
Have a great eve, all. Summer League tomorrow.
