I just returned home from Ruidoso a few hours ago. My baw and I were sitting in the very spot where this video was made drinking beer a few days ago. Also reports that Ruidoso Downs quarterhorse track has been severely impacted:

They are saying a 20 foot rise in an hour. Unconfirmed by me though. Unreal if true

Seeing an entire house moving 10-15 Mph down a river is sobering sight.

I'm assuming that's in a river bed? Major difference in a 20ft rise in a normally dry river bed in the SW during monsoon and one over a larger area.

Saw something similar back in 1983 when the Amite flooded in Ascension Parish. Some scary stuff watching a whole house screaming down a river.

They had bad flooding last year too after the fires. The punches keep coming.

It's a river bed, but in normal times, it's what we in Louisiana would call a small coulee.

Where’s all the libs saying this is Trump’s fault? Or saying the people deserve to die?

I get the impulse to make what you see as justified, retaliatory political points in a weather thread because someone on the "other side" said something shitty online, but come on.

First, New Mexico voted for Harris, so that would be a nonsensical talking point.
Second, has anyone even died for "them" to claim was justified?

You're shadowboxing.

The horse track got washed out on Sunday. It was already high water from any kind of tributary, and raining hard then

Nah, the hardcore libs were cheering on the Texas floods and they deserve to be called out for their hateful rhetoric. People like you turning a blind eye to these things is why it has gotten so out of hand.

Holy hell man. That’s crazy. Was anyone inside?

The ones in TX had people inside their own house floating down the river. Crazy.
