I’ve come to realize that out of all things you can play on that tiny TV screen on the airplane seat in front of you, putting on Fox News will make some people actively groan or mumble stuff towards you.

No such reactions from any other available news station. No such reactions from any R rated movie. The closest thing I’ve gotten to this is when watching Rick and Morty and having the old lady next to me let me know it was vile and disgusting and then asking if I’ve accepted the Lord into my heart.

This isn’t a gym melt and I don’t love Fox News, I just throw it on when I’m zoning out or doing other things and the markets have closed for the day.

You mean, Faux News? My partner banned that channel in our home and I’m so glad she did.

When we flew from Houston to John Wayne, one of the options was listening to the communications from the flight deck. That was really cool.

Used to be an option on every flight when you could plug into the arm rest.

My dad is retired and should be happy living the dream. Unfortunately he watches Fox News all day and walks around pissed off

Not sure how anyone takes Fox or CNN seriously.

Because outside of aging sports fans in message boards and a small percentage of the public, everyone knows it's garbage.

They don't wanna see/ hear it and they're definitely judging you.

Not saying to give ground, but I'm often amused at people who wonder why they get funny looks when they leave their (largely self selected) community.

I judge people that watch any of those news networks equally. CNN, fox, cnbc, whatever.

Hope this helps

The flight deck audio is always what I listen to if available. It makes you think you are actually flying...lol

I was flying back from a conference in Dallas. I was sitting right seat of a PC-12, and when we got close to Lafayette, you could pick up chatter from Acadiana Regional, where a good bit of T-38s fly into. It went from commercial names to call signs. The first one I heard was Jedi, and I asked our pilot what the hell that was, and he said it was military. That was pretty cool, too.

I really liked that airport. It was small, and a bunch of PJs took off in between the commercial planes. There was also a piano that you could play in the terminal, so my daughter jumped on and played. Then a pilot showed up and they played together.
