I'm trying to sell my boat, and one of their guys contacted me about selling my boat on consignment. Any of you fellas ever use them to sell a boat?

don't. if you do, the end buyer will have to pay taxes.

The end buyer is supposed to pay taxes anyway.
ETA: Not on a private sale.

I left my boat there for 3 months with no luck. Brought it home and advertised it on FB Marketplace. Sold it in 2 days.

I had them sell my boat a few years ago. Sold in 2 weeks. Easy process.
But, be firm with the original price you want for yourself when negotiating at the beginning. Also, stick to that price. They called me wanting me to take less than what we settled on originally and I said no. Boat sold anyway.
I found them fair, but stick to what you want. Make them fight for what they make with the buyer.

This, the reason I bought my boat from an individual.
ETA: when I sold a boat i used the Boat Yard, I did not want to deal with the tire kickers.

Yeah, this is part of why I am thinking about it, and the other part is I am gone half the month due to work. I have had a couple of interested parties buy another boat before I was available for them to see it.

If you’re having no luck on FB Marketplace it may be overpriced.

I've had inquiries, but timing has cost me a few of those potentially. I just dropped the price.

I used pop yachts a couple years ago. Found them to be easy and fair. Handle everything and you set your price. They do the rest.

I used the boat yard to sell an 01 ZX2200 recently. Took about 3 months but I got what I wanted.
