Our friend Hoohoo said it best yesterday

We come home off a sweep of the Dodgers. The Indians come in having lost 10 in a row. Prepare accordingly

For an organization whose farm system is consistently ranked No. 30, the Sugar Land Astros seem to be dominating the AL West and the best of the National League.

Week in review:
- We continue to win with the power of friendship
- Swept the Dodgers (outscored 29-9)
- 9-1 record vs the NL division leaders while having a depleted roster
- Offense has scored more than 5 runs in 6 straight games
- Cocksuck had a 2HR 8 RBI week. Only 3Ks. Could be signs of a turning point
- Altuve owns the Dodgers. It was remarkable to watch. 3HR 7RBI. Boo louder!
- Zack Short made a name for himself this weekend with his bat hitting .500 vs LA
- Hunter Brown, Josh Hader, and Jeremy Pena were named All-Stars
- Chandler if you're reading this, you're still a bitch

Injury updates:
- Meyers: Calf tightness. Unsure if he will miss time
- JP3: N/A. Has not resumed baseball activities
- Yordan: Was shut down again. Literally no one knows
- Dezenzo: N/A. Has not resumed baseball activities
- Chas: Rehab assignment in progress
- Melton: N/A. Has not resumed baseball activities
- Luis Garcia: Rehab assignment this morning. 2IP 1H 4K. Can't find how many pitches he threw
- Spaghetti: Rehab assignment in the near-future
- Javier: 2 bullpen sessions completed
- J6 France: Has thrown multiple 20+ pitch bullpen sessions in recent weeks

Roster moves:
- Zack Short was called up in place of Pena
- Cocksuck to the Paternity List for 3 days (congrats on the sex)
- OF Kenedy Corona called up

Looking ahead:
3 vs Cleveland
3 vs Arlington
All-Star Break

Is that a good thing, a bad thing, or nothing?

The call-ups have all contributed in a positive way outside of Weems

We should possibly consider just cycling through every player at Sugar Land into some kind of rotation at all positions

Why make this harder than it has to be?

They're all can't miss guys. We use the others on trade deals for the most part. All the while the worst farm system in the league.

By my math's, #3 is 10-2 against #'s 1,2, 4 and 5.

Just 2 of 4 from Garcia, Spaghetti, France, and Javier would be yuge.

If Garcia, Javier and Arrighetti all get back in the next 4 to 6 weeks, that would be pretty decent.

Wen left-handed bat trade?

So he struck out 4 guys, gave up a solo homer and got 2 more outs on just 17 pitches?

Efficient.

Just when I thought they couldn't piecemeal together a more pathetic looking lineup on paper, here we are.

Can you imagine a player playing 2,632 straight games in today’s MLB?
