Thank you. Sucks he did not get a plate appearance for or step foot on the field for the championship series, but was instrumental in 2023.

He appeared to be a great teammate and tiger. Just want to say thanks.

We don’t win the titles in 23 or 25 without his contributions. I suspect he will have a great future coaching some hitters.

I have no relations with him or his family, but I was watching a replay of the championship game and he was one of the first ones piling on. And he was a senior that did a lot for lsu baseball (at least what I could see) but did not even get a chance on the championship series. But watch the 2023 games and he was huge for us. He reminds me of a beloso, meaning he knows he is not playing in the pros but gave everything he had for 4 years. I am just saying thanks.

Good thread. Something that I hadn’t thought about until recently is what if his brother had come to LSU instead of going to the draft. He was a 3rd round pick and got a million dollar signing bonus but it looks like he’s out of baseball now. I bet he wishes he would come to LSU for 3 years instead.

I think the last thing Josh Pearson thinks about is his lack of playing time against CC in the last two games. He isn't the least bit bitter. He was happy to dogpile and knows he had a big hand in the championship run.

Thank you, Josh.

He was asked his thoughts on this & he just smiled & said he trusted CJJ & had "no issues with any decisions he makes". He's a 1000 % team player.

Daughter and Grandsons met him and John in West Monroe last week, said they are both great guys. Got autographed pictures for my office. I think Josh has been a clutch hitter his whole career.

Stelllar baseball player all of his years at LSU and my favorite Tiger in recent years. Thanks for being a Tiger!

Just jumping in to say thanks to Josh too. Great Tiger. We didn’t “need” him vs Coastal. He was available though I’m sure.

HIs Dad and I have had several conversations since they got back from Omaha. We have discussed a lot of thing but Josh's lack of playing time is not one of them. They are great Tiger fans that want what's best for the team. Excited to see what John does.

I'll never forget Josh Pearson making that crucial super-clutch 10th inning snag in left field in Game 1 vs Florida in '23...

...while also juxtaposing that to Arky's left fielder Charles Davalan mustering a brutal super-choke error on a Hernandez liner in the bottom of the 9th in '25.

Thank you, Josh...and Chuck.

Josh saw playing time in nearly every game. He had over 220 game appearances over his 4yr career at LSU. Every championship team needs senior leaders. So thankful this team had Josh.

He'll have a shot and he'll have a chance to prove he deserves a closer look.
