I learned some valuable life lessons this week with my own personal situation.

It’s amazing how apparent and obvious things can be from people on the outside looking in.
I suppose love has a way of blinded you, not being able to see the truth. I had some hard questions that I didn’t understand in my own marriage that I got the answers to this week.

I read numerous posts by people on here about women and divorce and issues that come up in a relationship, and even though I believed everybody what they were saying, I said all this doesn’t apply to me.
This is not how my wife is/was.
Boy was I wrong.

Long story short there wasn’t any infidelity, well maybe there was odd at this point ….but there was manipulation. There was lying and blaming.
It’s all in a manner of which I was made out to be the problem. She was the victim. It hurt when I found out the truth, probably more so when I signed my divorce papers, but it was also freedom. It was also like weight was lifted off my shoulders ! I can move forward in my life breathe deep again, and see and think about something else besides her and our shitty marriage

on the flipside of this I did meet somebody recently unlike any other woman I’ve ever met
when I told her my story she told me hers. I felt terrible because the things that she went through versus what I went through. I’ll see her this eve … no pics.

I’ll just say moving on it’s hard but when you accept it, it is gratifying. That’s where growth starts. Accepting the now and not asking why anymore.

If anyone else is dealing with this heartache just know tommorw is better day.

happy Saturday.

Been there with my first wife. Loved her dearly. She didn't love herself, and I eventually realized I couldn't save someone that didn't want to be saved, and had to get out to save my own sanity.

Finally leaving was one of the worst days and best days of my life in the same moment.

Rebound relationships almost as fragile as we met in rehab.

She lives 3 hours away which is what I need.

The ones that live 5 mins down the road can problematic if it’s too soon.

Lonliness has a way of taking over rational thought.

Their is probably a sad dude on the other side of new chick's sob story. They are never to blame. Enjoy being free and get some strange, don't latch on to something new immediately

She's no different than the rest of em. She's just a breath of fresh air. Beware the rebound chick. Take some time away from women before diving back in.

My Eyes wide open
I’m not rushing into anything.

But imo any dude that doesn’t want a good looking woman to spend time with is not normal

I think your ex was just tired of your chill nature (and the fact that you’ve been outlawed).
