Need recommendations for a dishwasher...

Dishwasher broke (actual one, not wife) and looking into some new ones from Lowes. They all seem on sale all of the time. Our current fridgidaire lasted only 3 years. It finally stopped drying and barely washing.
Any recommendation?

We have a GE. It does a good job. The “Heated Dry” option isn’t great though but I don’t think any newer machines regardless of make or model are worth a damn in that regard anymore.

Bosch are some of the best, per my cousin who is an appliance repair guy.
Don't get Samsung.

Bosch 800 series. No contest if you can afford it.

A good mid level Bosch. The crystal dry feature works great and dries absolutely everything including plastics. Would also recommend one with third rack,, it’s useful.
There’s quite a few threads on home and garden board with same topic.

Both these are right. Too add, stay away from LG dishwashers. My friends had one, nothing but problems. The racks started rusting.

My recommendation is get the 5yr protection plan. I assume Lowe’s has this but I know Home Depot does. Dishwashers I find have a bunch of small pieces that break.

Bosch. Can't tell it's running and cleans like a mother

Why buy a protection plan? Why not just buy a dependable dishwasher? Then wait for a repair guy to show up?

Kitchenaid is also a good brand.

Bosch seems to clean the best. Although it doesn't dry the dishes as well as our GE did.

Probably a simple fix. But go ahead and spend your money on a new one. Then bitch later you have no money.

I recommend a Bosch 800 series as well... have one and confirm it's by far the best dishwasher we've owned. Very quiet and cleans/dries really well.
